COCONUT CHUTNEY
Ingredients:
- Coconut – 1cup (chopped/grated)
- Roasted Channa Dal – 1 tbsp
- Roasted Urrat dal- 1 tbsp
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Salt- 1tbsp
For Chutney Tempering:
- Mustard oil- 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds- 1 tbsp
- Some curry leaves
- Red dry chillies – 3
- Sesame Seed (Til)- 1 tbsp
Method:
- Take a grinder jar and add all the ingredients mentioned above.
- Grind well and pour into a bowl.
- Now prepare the tempting and mix well for delicious flavours and aroma.
TOMATO CHUTNEY
Ingredients:
- Big Tomatoes – 2
- Ginger- 1 inch
- Garlic- 5-6 cloves
- Green chillies- 2-3
- Salt- as per taste
- Hing- a pinch
- Onion (optional)- 1
- Red chilli powder (if you want to brighten coloured chutney)- 1tsp
- Tamarind – soak in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes
For Chutney Tempering:
- Mustard oil- 2 tsp
- Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
- Some curry leaves
- Red dry chillies – 3
- Sesame Seed (Til)- 1 tsp
Method:
- Put a pan on low medium flame, now add oil than hing, and onions and cook till they are transparent.
- Then add red chilli powder, diced tomatoes, chopped ginger, garlic, green chillies and salt.
- Now cook for 5 minutes on low flame, then add 2 glasses of water and cook until tomatoes get soft.
- Reduce water or add according to your choice, and let the chutney masala cool.
- Take a grinder jar and add all the cooked masala.
- Grind well and pour into a bowl.
- Now prepare the tempting and mix well for delicious flavours and aroma.
