Try this super easy recipe that shows you how to spice up your meal and treat yourself to this spicy and tasty breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 4 tbsp Maida
- 4 tbsp grated cheese (optional)
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp grated garlic
- 3 potatoes, peeled
- 2 cups of water (ice-cold)
- Salt as per taste
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 4-5 tbsp oil
Method:
- Shred the potatoes and rinse them well in ice-cold water.
- Then drain and squeeze excess water from the potatoes.
- Now take a bowl, beat an egg and add Maida, cheese, onion, garlic, salt, red chilli powder, black pepper and mix it.
- Lastly, add the shredded potatoes and combine them well.
- Now, in a frying pan heat the oil on medium flame and pour the potato mixture into the pan.
- Gently press on the mixture so that it gets evenly spread.
- Cook each side for 3 -4 minutes or until it gets crispy.
- Transfer it to a plate and serve hot!
