Potato Wedges

Why order potato wedges from outside when you can make them at home without any hustle. So, gear-up with your apron and start this easy snacks recipe. 


  • 4 large potatoes
  • 3 cups of water 
  • Salt 
  • 2 tbsp oil 
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ cup oil for deep-frying 
  • 1 tsp oregano (for garnish)


  • Wash the potatoes well and cut them into wedges. publicspoon| easy snacks recipe
  • Now in a saucepan, bring three cups of water to a boil. Then add 1/2 tsp of salt and potato wedges and boil it for 3 minutes on high flame.
  • Transfer it to a bowl, drain the excess water and let it cool.
  • Now in the bowl, add 2 tbsp of oil, red chilli powder, ground black pepper and mix it well.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the wedges until they turn golden brown in colour.
  • Garnish it with oregano seasoning and enjoy.
