Why order potato wedges from outside when you can make them at home without any hustle. So, gear-up with your apron and start this easy snacks recipe.
Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes
- 3 cups of water
- Salt
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ½ cup oil for deep-frying
- 1 tsp oregano (for garnish)
Method:
- Wash the potatoes well and cut them into wedges.
- Now in a saucepan, bring three cups of water to a boil. Then add 1/2 tsp of salt and potato wedges and boil it for 3 minutes on high flame.
- Transfer it to a bowl, drain the excess water and let it cool.
- Now in the bowl, add 2 tbsp of oil, red chilli powder, ground black pepper and mix it well.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the wedges until they turn golden brown in colour.
- Garnish it with oregano seasoning and enjoy.
