When you feel hungry and want to eat healthy and light to digest and most importantly cook in very less time then this easy snacks recipe is for you. this recipe is super easy and all the ingredients are available in your kitchen.
Ingredients:
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Sooji 1 cup
- Water 2 cup
- Green chilli + ginger + garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Haldi 1/2 tsp
Tadka Ingredients:
- Oil 1tbsp
- Mustard seeds
- Sesame seeds
- Jeera
- Curry leaves
- Green chillies
- Chilli flacks
Method:
- Take a pan and add oil to it, now add sooji and roast until it gets aromatic.
- Now add water in two batches so that it doesn’t get lumps.
- When the water is reduced by half then add ginger garlic and chilli paste, salt and haldi.
- Mix well and cook until it becomes like a dough.
- Now remove the sooji dough from the flame and let it cool.
- When sooji dough gets cool, make small balls and place them aside.
Steam the Sooji Balls:
- Put the steamer on flame and add sooji balls to it.
- Steam them for about 5 minutes and they are ready.
Tadka:
- Take a saucepan and put oil in it.
- Now add Mustard seeds, Sesame seeds, Jeera, curry leaves, sliced green chillies and chilli flacks.
- Without any delay add the steamed sooji balls and mix nicely.
- Give them less than a minute and switch off the flame.
Your healthy sooji balls are ready with an easy snacks recipe.
